- Margaret shows how joy is more than whimsy; it's the weaponry you can use to fight life's greatest battles. - This is a 6 session study with 5 weeks of homework. Plan about 30 minutes per day for homework. There are 5 days of homework per week. The leaders guide is in the front of the workbook. In the back of the workbook is the Joy Bomb Journal. In the Joy Bomb Journal you will keep track of the joy bombs in your like by recording 3 of them each day. There are 25 days of homework so here is room for 75 joys bombs to journal. Examples of joy bombs- a beautiful sunset, and unexpected phone call from a friend. Listening guide is in the workbook. It contains fill in the blanks, activity suggestions and group discussion questions and closing prayer notes. Memorization cards are in also in the back of the workbook that can be tore out.
- You do not need the book "Fight back with Joy" just the workbook to do the study. The leaders guide suggests that the leader does read the book before leading the study.
- Each video session is between 20 - 30 minutes. Session 1-Secrets of Joyful People. Session 2-The Hidden Treasure of Joy. Session 3-Poke Holes in the Darkness. Session 4-A Side of Joy No One Talks About. Session 5-The Holy Mess of Joy. Session 6-What to do when Those You Love are Hurting.
