Karen Kingsbury

The Family of Jesus published by Lifeway 2014
  • Karen, one of America's favorite storytellers, will make Jesus' family feel like your own.  Karen will guide you through the customs, emotions and challenges of what being part of the family of Jesus may have been like.
  • This is a 6 session study.  Each DVD session is about 30 minutes long.  Session 1 - Joseph: Husband, Protector, Servant; Session 2 - Zechariah: Singing a New Song; Session 3 - john the Baptist: Completing God's Task; Session 4 - Elizabeth: Holding Out Hope; Session 5 - James: From Skepticism to Commitment; Session 6 - Mary: Praying and Following.
  • Workbook contains a "Your Story" page for each session.  Your story is exactly that, describing your family, your story.  There is also a listening guide, discussion questions, and 5 days of homework per week.  Plan about half an hour for each day.
  • Remember that Karen writes fiction so for those that just like the facts- you will not like this study.  However, for those who love to let the imagination wonder and would love to put their own story into words, you will love The Family of Jesus.
